What to do on the day before St Patrick’s Day when there’s no school? Build a leprechaun trap, of course! Gabe and I had been reading a super fun book we got from the library, called The Night Before St. Patrick’s Day, which inspired us to make this project. We will leave it in his room overnight to see if we can catch a leprechaun. Maybe in the morning we will find a little captive in there who will tell us where he has hidden his pot of gold ;). Here is a pic of Gabe trying out the trap on Bob the Builder – in our preliminary tests, the trap seemed to be working great!

Hi Hannah, have fun with your project – I know we always enjoy making these at our house! This particular trap was our first one, inspired by a book we read, not the internet. But since then, I have seen lots of great ideas for them online.
